Hello
fellow anglers,
Here is the Naples
Florida fishing report for February, March, and
April 2008.
Backwater fishing,
we will be catching Trout, Jacks, Pompano, Ladyfish,
Bluefish, Snook, Snapper, Black Drum, Redfish and
others. We will be jigging in the intercoastal
waterways and back bays for the Trout, Pompano,
Bluefish and others. Snook, Redfish, Black Drum, and
Snapper we catch up in the mangroves. Snook will be
closed all of February. Depending on the tide,
number of anglers, skill level, and weather, we will
target the appropriate fish for that day.
Offshore fishing,
we will be catching Grouper, Snapper, Spanish
Mackerel, King Mackerel, Cobia, Permit, and others.
Grouper are closed February 15 - March 15th. We may
be bottom fishing, trolling, or free lining bait
depending on the fish, number of anglers, skill
level and weather.
Water temperatures
will be in the 60 - 75 degree range depending on the
frequency and severity of the cold fronts. Air
temperatures should be in a range of 60 - 85 degrees
during the daytime for Naples.
We look forward to
fishing with you soon on a Naples Fishing Charter.
